This seminar is part of a collaboration between the Parliamentary Library and ACOLA to bring Australia’s leading minds from Australia’s Learned Academies and other experts to important topics of interest to Parliament.
This session was a conversation led by Professor Julian Thomas and focused on the opportunities that automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) can bring to processes and decision-making in industry, society and government. The Seminar will explore the challenges these technologies bring and the imperatives to improve explainability and transparency to their use and implementation.
